- Open the console and go to Tasking.
- To find orders placed by other account users, click My account. Otherwise, stay in My workspace.
- To open the order sidebar, select an order. You’ll only see one AOI on the basemap, even if the tasking order is for multiple AOIs.

- Select a completed order to see the sidebar.
- Click above to copy the order ID.
- Open the console and go to Tasking to monitor an order.
- To find orders placed by other account users, click My account. Otherwise, stay in My workspace.
- Select an order to view the percentage of the geometry that has been acquired. To see the footprint of the acquired assets displayed over the ordered geometry, check the basemap.
A purple point marker indicates an ordered POI geometry.
A purple polygon indicates an ordered AOI geometry.
A blue polygon indicates the footprint of delivered assets, and a gray polygon indicates the remaining order geometry.
- Open the console and go to Tasking to check the status of an order.
- To find orders placed by other account users, click My account. Otherwise, stay in My workspace.
Status | Description |

Wait for feasibility | The tasking parameters are being evaluated to determine if the order is possible. |
Feasibility is ready | The tasking parameters have been evaluated, and the feasibility study is ready for review. |
Wait for quotation | The price quotation for the order is being prepared. |
Quotation is ready | The price quotation for the order is ready. The order will be activated after it’s accepted. |
In progress | The order has been activated and is ongoing. Tasking orders are usually delivered in increments when any part of the AOI is covered. At any time during this stage, some assets can be ready for you to download them. |
Completed | All assets are ready, and you can download them. |
Canceled | The order has been canceled and won’t be activated. |
Depending on the specified order parameters, the tasking acquisition time frames will vary.
You can download KML files of parts of the order geometry that are either remaining or have already been delivered.
- Open the console and go to Tasking.
- To find orders placed by other account users, click My account. Otherwise, stay in My workspace.
- Select an order.
- Go to Captured imagery and click Download order coverage.
- To download a KML with the remaining part, click Download remaining geometry.
- To download a KML with the delivered part, click Download delivered geometry.
If a part of your order isn’t delivered, you can search for catalog data over this area.
- Open the console and go to Tasking.
- To find orders placed by other account users, click My account. Otherwise, stay in My workspace.
- Select an order.
- Go to Captured imagery and click Download order coverage → Search catalog over remaining geometry.
- When the remaining geometry is an AOI, it will start a catalog search over the pending part of the geometry.
- When the remaining geometry is a POI, it will start a catalog search over a 1 km radius circular area around the pending point coordinate.
- When the remaining geometry is split into several AOIs, it will start a catalog search over a bounding box covering all pending features.
If you want to save an order template for a specific collection to reuse for future tasking orders, add it to your Template library.
- Open the console, go to Tasking, and proceed to the order creation stage.
- Fill out the order form.
- Click Save template.
- Enter a unique name and an optional description. Click Save template.
All account users will have access to the template.
If you or other account users have templates for a specific collection, you can use them for your order.
- Open the console, go to Tasking, and proceed to the order creation stage.
- Click Select template.
- Select a template and click Apply template. All current values will be cleared. Order name, description, acquisition date range, and tags will be left blank. The other parameters will be updated from the template.
If you or other account users have templates for a specific collection, you can edit their names, descriptions, and order parameters.
Update a template from the library
- Open the console, go to Tasking, and proceed to the order creation stage.
- Click Select template or, if you have already applied a template, Change template.
- Find the template you want to edit and click .
- Update the template and click Save.
Save order form modifications
- Open the console, go to Tasking, and proceed to the order creation stage.
- Change the values of order parameters.
- Click Save template.
- Determine how you’d like to proceed:
- To update the existing template, click Update existing.
- To create a new template, click Save as new template.
If you or other account users have templates for a specific collection, you can delete them.
- Open the console, go to Tasking, and proceed to the order creation stage.
- Click Select template or, if you have already applied a template, Change template.
- Find the template you want to delete and click .
- To confirm, click Delete.

The agreed-upon period for my tasking order has passed
If a tasking order hasn’t been delivered within the agreed period, contact the Operations team with the order ID to extend the tasking period or get a partial refund. For more information, see Refund policy.
