If you are ordering a certain catalog collection for the first time, complete the access steps.

Select a collection
Review the specifications of tasking collections and select a collection for ordering.

Request access
If you want to order the chosen collection for the first time, request access to the collection. Your request will be reviewed in up to 3 working days. You’ll get an email once a decision has been reached. You can review your access request status on the Access requests page.
After you have access, you won’t need to request access again.

Accept the EULA
If you want to order the chosen collection for the first time, review and accept its end-user license agreement (EULA). If a EULA is updated, you need to re-accept it before creating your next order.

Select tasking collections
- Open the console, go to Tasking, and click Create tasking order.
- Select the tasking collections you want to order and click Continue with this selection.

Define geometries
- Check limitations for tasking collections and the types of geometry the selected collections accept as input.
- Check that your geometries are valid for a tasking order.
- Add geometries.
- Choose a collection you want to proceed with and click Configure this collection.
- Review the price estimation and click Continue.

Find out how order parameters affect the time frames of your tasking order and set up order parameters.
Reuse parameters from order templates
If you or other account users have templates for this collection, you can use them for your order.
All current values will be cleared. Order name, description, acquisition date range, and tags will be left blank. The other parameters will be updated from the template.Depending on the collection and parameter combination, you’ll see the following:

Feasibility study requirement
Whether your order configuration is automatically feasible or requires a feasibility study conducted first.

Tasking opportunities
Whether your order configuration is aligned with potential time intervals when sensors of a selected collection pass over your AOI during a specified acquisition time period to capture imagery with the given order parameters.
Once you have configured the parameters and checked the updated price estimation adjusted to your order configuration, click Review order.

Review your order
- Review collection information.
- Review selected geometries. If you have defined multiple geometries, each geometry will result in a separate order. Order names will be suffixed with incrementing numbers:
Order 1
,Order 2
, etc. If you need to change geometries before submitting the request, click Back to Add geometry. - Review order configuration. If you need to change details before submitting the request, click Back to Configure order.
- Click Submit order request. You’ll not be charged at this step.
Depending on the collection and parameter combination, your order might or might not require a feasibility study.

If a feasibility study isn’t required
The order is considered feasible within the specified parameters and will move to the activation request stage.

If a feasibility study is required
After an order is placed, the Operations team will conduct a feasibility study. They will evaluate the tasking parameters with the provider, and then will present the following assessments:
- The order is possible with the given parameters.
- The order requires modifications with suitable options proposed.
You’ll receive an email notifying you when your order feasibility has been assessed. To proceed, follow these steps:
Once you accept the tasking quotation, the credits for that order will be deducted. The transaction can’t be reversed.
After accepting a feasibility study option, you’ll receive a price quotation for your order. To review a quotation and activate your order, follow these steps:
- Open the console and go to Tasking.
- Select your order and click Price.
- If you are an admin, you can accept or reject this price. If you accept, the amount will be deducted from your credit balance and tasking operations will start.
Monitor the status and the readiness of your order.
The following statuses mean you can download assets from storage:
- In progress: some order assets might have been delivered.
- Completed: all order assets have been delivered.
Download delivered assets.
Multiple people need to be alerted about an order. How can I set this up?
If you want to receive notifications about a tasking order created by another user, subscribe to their workspace notifications. Otherwise, only the user who owns the workspace will receive notifications for the created order.
