Access and manage your orders and assets.

Storage allows you to have your own storage space where you can monitor the status of each order and download assets. An asset is a unique item associated to a successful order or a fresh image captured through sensor tasking and it contains the downloadable geospatial dataset. The assets that get delivered to storage originate from data platform ordering (API and catalog interface), job runs and tasking operations.

This guide assumes that you already ordered tasking geospatial datasets through tasking operations. For more information, please refer to Tasking: Getting started.

Storage has the following advantages:

  • It provides immediate access to fresh datasets acquired through tasking operations
  • It centralizes all the datasets downloaded via job runs or data platform orders
  • It allows you to re-use the previously downloaded datasets into workflows and perform further analytics

The assets are only delivered as ZIP archives.

The assets delivered to storage must originate from the specific data providers or from tasking operations.

How to access storage

1. Open storage

storage navigation
In the blue menu bar, click on Storage.

storage empty
You will be redirected to the Storage window which is empty until you purchase data.

2. Monitor order status

After you order tasking geospatial datasets through tasking operations, go to the tab Orders. Click on the Tasking tab on the right and view the order status (In Progress/Completed).

4. Purchase data and download assets

When a tasking operation is activated, the sensor captures images based on the criteria defined during order placement. Everytime the sensor captures fresh images, they are delivered to storage and are available for download. To access the data, go to the Data tab and download the assets. An asset is a unique item associated to a fresh image captured through sensor tasking and it contains the downloadable geospatial dataset.
