Introduction
This section will guide you through using workflow templates with pre-defined JSON parameters and simplify geospatial data analysis. The advantage of using workflow templates is that users do not need to manually configure the JSON parameter values, thus simplifying the analysis of the satellite images. Please note that this action is only possible in the catalog for Pléiades or SPOT satellite images that have the usage type Processing.
Using Workflow Templates
Compatible Datasets
Workflow templates are currently compatible with the following satellite images:
Satellite images compatible with workflow templates |
---|
Pléiades Reflectance (Download) |
SPOT 6/7 Reflectance (Download) |
Steps
This article assumes that you already opened the Catalog, selected Pléiades or SPOT satellite images with the usage type Processing and added them to the cart. To add the images to cart, please refer to Ordering.
After selecting the images and adding them to the cart, do the following:
- Click View Cart.
Inside the cart, go to the tab Processing.
The workflow templates are separated according to satellite image type (Pléiades or SPOT).
Workflow Templates | Pléiades | SPOT 6/7 |
---|---|---|
NDVI Threshold and Vectorization | x | x |
Car Detection | x | |
Truck Detection | x | |
Aircraft Detection | x | |
Tree Height Detection | x | |
Ship Identification | x |
If you added to cart both Pléiades and SPOT images, then Configure Job will appear 2 times.
Click Configure Job.
- Select a workflow template.
- Click Next.
You are redirected to the job configuration window. The JSON parameters are pre-defined, according to the selected image(s) and algorithm specifications. You can adjust the JSON parameters manually or leave them as displayed.
Change the job type to Live Job.
Click Run Job.
For more information about running jobs and downloading the results, please refer to How to Download the Outputs.
