Introduction
This guide will walk you through creating a workflow from scratch and adding data and processing blocks.
Create a Project
After you signed up and logged in, the Projects dashboard is displayed. Create a new project by clicking on Start a Project.
Provide a name to your project and add a description (optional).
Click on Save.
Create a Workflow
Go to the Workflows dashboard.
Create an empty workflow by clicking on Create Workflow.
Provide a name to your workflow and add a description (optional).
Proceed with adding data and processing blocks.
Add the Data Block
In a workflow, the first block is always a data block. A data block is an operator for a geospatial data source (satellite or aerial images, vector data etc.) that can be directly downloaded or streamed and further analyzed with processing blocks. Click Add data.
Browse for the data block Pléiades Reflectance (Download). This data block retrieves high-resolution Pléiades images and it consumes 1000 UP42 credits per square kilometer (the equivalent of 10 Euro or US dollars). Click on this block and read its description, where additional details are provided. Click Add Block.
Add the First Processing Block
The next block that follows the data block is a processing block. A processing block is an operator for processing the previous data source or processing block output. Click Add processing.
Browse for the processing block Pan-sharpening. This block applies pan-sharpening, a remote sensing algorithm that uses a higher-resolution panchromatic image to fuse with the lower-resolution multiband image. This block consumes 0 UP42 credits per square kilometers. Click this block and read its description, where additional details are provided. Click Add Block.
Add the Second Processing Block
The next block that follows the processing block is another processing block. Click on the plus sign.
Browse for the processing block Flood Finder Pléiades/SPOT. This block applies a flood finder algorithm that extracts water-covered areas from two Pléiades images acquired in the same region. This block consumes 50 UP42 credits per square kilometer (the equivalent of 0.5 Euro or US dollars). Click this block and read its description, where additional details are provided. Click Add Block.
Next Steps
Now that the workflow is created, you can now proceed with the job configuration by clicking on Save & Configure Job. For the next steps, please go to Configure Job (Commercial Data).
