Introduction
This block provides high-resolution 8-bit Hexagon aerial images, either as downloaded or streamed products. These images are acquired with Leica ADS100 and Leica DMC III large format digital airborne sensors on a yearly basis in USA, some parts of Canada and Europe. The datasets are available starting with 2014.

Limitations
The maximum AOI size is 100 sq. km. By default, the most recent image is returned. The streamed image or any derived dataset that contains the original pixel values cannot be downloaded. For more information about the end user license agreement of the streamed product, please refer to the Marketplace.
Metadata
The acquisition date and other metadata are displayed in the file data.json
, which is generated along with the downloaded Hexagon image:
How it works
Supported JSON parameters | Default value | Min | Max | Examples |
---|---|---|---|---|
zoom_level | 20 | 3 | 19 | "zoom_level": 19 |
bbox /intersects | null | n.a. | 100 sq. km. | Please check the examples from the JSON parameters. |
Disclaimer
HxGN provides all the image tiles intersecting a certain AOI or bounding box. The smaller the zoom level, the larger the tiles and the larger the credit consumption (the pricing is per sq. km). We strongly advise not changing the zoom level value during job configuration. Also note that the zoom value 20 exists, but it retrieves an upscaled resolution of the image.
